We went to a farm in New Hampshire to pick apples to make homemade applie pie and our Halloween pumpkins. It was lots and lots of fun. We had our faces painted, ate cider donuts (YUMMY) and went on a hay ride. The fall leaves were AMAZING! I absolutely had to stop and get pictures of the red, yellow and orange trees. God's creations are magnificient! And then, of course, I had to get pictures of the kids. I had this great vision of the kids sitting in pile of orange, yellow and red leaves holding each other and smiling like angels. Well, that was not the case. It was like pulling teeth to get them to stay still. We were able to get a few good ones to show. They are so funny!!!! Life is good.

1st Day of School

First day of school! The summer flew by and before we knew it, it was time to go back to school. Although, Michael and Megan are still at the age where they enjoy going. I know my time is limited......

Oh, it was good to be home!!!

We went back to Oregon for Alex and Lena's wedding in August and got the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. It was so good to see everyone. The kids had such a great time. They didn't want to go home. We can't wait to be back in Oregon. We miss everyone so much. But, we are "blooming where we have been planted" and are enjoying the historical opportunities New England offers.

Labor Day at Cape Cod

Well, as you can see, we finally made it to a cute little beach on Cape Cod. We had so much fun. The wind was wicked strong and we were getting stung by little pebbles of sand. But, we weren't going to go home until we had a complete lobster red sunburn. It was so windy and cold that we didn't put any sunscrean on and all got very sunburned. Michael had never had a sunburn before and was going around the house saying that he wished there was no such thing as a sunburn. Pore guy.
